This site is part of the Goodwin family's summer 2009 project to photograph and learn about the wildflowers of the Inland Northwest. Truth be told, Papa Goodwin is the one who is sort of obsessed with this project and the rest of the family are along for the ride. The hope is that it will provide an educational opportunity for the kids and deepen our family's connection to our region. There are so many other great sites you'll want to see if your learning about Inland Northwest Wildflowers: pnwflowers.com and the Burke Museum site are the best Washington sources of info. The best national info site is plants.usa.gov. The niche of this site among those giants is hopefully the focus on the Inland Northwest region of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.
